It has been such a joy for me to capture images of Shaylee during the first 6 months of her life.  My first time meeting baby Shaylee, was when she was about 8 days old... to watch her personality come to life as she has begun to crawl and explore her surroundings has been wonderful.  Pictures during a baby's first year of life are so beautiful, the images truly bring to life the essence of the moments their personality began to take shape.  Can't wait to see how active she becomes in the next 6 months!  I am blessed by the life I am living and even more blessed by the people who have touched my heart.

It is always a joy to do a 2nd maternity session for an expectant mother...two years ago we did Kaitlin's first session as we awaited the arrival of baby boy, now we are smiling with joy awaiting a precious baby girl!  This was a fun and laid back session, already can't wait to do the newborn session in the next few weeks.  As usual, I love working with your family and am praying for a healthy, beautiful baby that I know will be so loved! 

I must say that a weekend engagement is an exceptional way to start off my week!  I am happy to report that the man of my dreams asked me to be his wife on our day trip to Leavenworth on Saturday.  I have found myself at a complete loss for words, a flood of emotions overwhelming me as I know without any doubt that God has been and will continue to be the director of our love story.  I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this incredible man, my future husband!

I always think it's fun to look back at where I've been and what has transpired from moments that define the person I am becoming.  I decided to take a few seconds to collect images that show how I saw the world in 2009.  From a stint in Europe, a wedding in Chicago, students rallying on the hill in Washington DC, a visit to the Lone Star State, ten day road trip up and down the west coast, a spontaneous cruise to the Caribbean, family vacations, beautiful weddings, adorable babies, seniors leaving their mark, meeting the man of my dreams and again, being thankful that I get to experience this pathway I am on.  As we begin February {the month of love} take time to laugh, be moved and love those around you.  2010 is going to be a year of defining as well as refining my character, my business and the passion I have deep within me to continue living the best life possible.
