Laugh, laughter, laughing...yes, that would be me.  Whether it be that I am telling a funny story, listening to a joke or just tripped over my own two feet {I can be clumsy but it keeps life interesting} the sound of laughter is never far away.  I am serious and light hearted, I've been a perfectionist since I was a child, an international traveler who sees the world as a giant canvas of possibility, admit that I am completely afraid of heights, love seeing a breathtaking sunset on the beach and know that I am right where I am supposed to be in life.

Like so many, I am a cancer survivor {2006} and with that knowledge, I believe comes a responsibility to live the best life possible.  While still in my twenties, I also beat the odds when diagnosed with multiple blood clots throughout my leg and both of my lungs, then living to tell about it. {commonly referred to as a DVT {Deep Vein Thrombosis} and a PE {Pulmonary Embolism}}  I don't share these chapters in my life for sympathy, but merely to give you a glimpse into the journey I have been on.  We each have those moments when the world sees into us like an open book, then there are chapters that we hold close to us, sometimes afraid to fully embrace them as we should.  I am thankful for this road I am on and the life lessons that have presented themselves during the peaks and valleys of my existence.  Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

I am a real life photographer who sees the world in pictures. Looking through the lens of my camera, hearing the click and knowing I just seized that one moment in time is fascinating. I am located in the Seattle area and available for travel to wherever your photography needs might take me.

I am an active member of the Professional Photographers of America {PPA}, the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International {WPPI} and was awarded "The Knot 2007 Best of Wedding Pick."  I use Canon equipment and when I buy a new lens or camera body, you'd think I was a kid on Christmas... my eyes light up and I can't wait to start playing with it.

Photography and writing are two of my creative outlets that allow me to express the way in which I view life.  I am blessed beyond measure and hope that through the talents God has given me, that I can enrich the lives of those around me.  I live my life passionately, knowing that each day is a gift.  It's been a crazy wonderful journey so far, can't wait to see what is ahead.
