It is always a joy to do a 2nd maternity session for an expectant mother...two years ago we did Kaitlin's first session as we awaited the arrival of baby boy, now we are smiling with joy awaiting a precious baby girl!  This was a fun and laid back session, already can't wait to do the newborn session in the next few weeks.  As usual, I love working with your family and am praying for a healthy, beautiful baby that I know will be so loved! 

Last week I spent an afternoon with Kory, Chris and baby Lilia.  A few years ago I shot their wedding in Leavenworth and it was been great to capture their lives recently with baby Lilia.  She is an absolute doll but I must say that it was rather difficult to keep her attention when we were surrounded by ducks.  These pictures just made me think of Christmas and as we celebrate today, I hope that Lilia brought a smile to your face.  This season is filled with shopping, holiday parties, family gatherings, travel and the like, but to truly take a few moments and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas is a joy for me.  I am blessed beyond measure and do not take each day I am given for granted.  I have lived an amazing life so far and know that the year 2010 will be full of monumental moments, memories I cannot wait to create and love I look forward to sharing.  Be thankful for those around you, knowing that each breath you are given is a precious gift.

Over the weekend {Saturday morning to be exact} the one morning that was absolutely beautiful as I awoke to rays of sun cascading through my window, I met up with Jocelyn and her two year old daughter Romy.  We spent the better part of the morning following Romy around as she explored every inch of the playground, the falling leaves and a small bridge assisting local fishermen sneak up on their catch of the day.  Romy is a rambunctious little girl who is bursting at the seams with curiosity.  We were lucky to have a sunny day among the rain and I think the images show that we took full advantage of that.  So great to meet you Jocelyn and capture a few fun shots of your baby as she showed us her personality through action.

I had a session with Sarah {mama} and Olivia {baby girl}, at their home and got a few images that I wanted to share.  Olivia is absolutely adorable and this being my first time meeting her, she stole my heart.  She has engaging blue eyes, one of the cutest smiles and can crawl at warp speed if she wants to.  I am looking forward to watching her grow and capturing more timeless moments of her.
