Last week I spent an afternoon with Kory, Chris and baby Lilia.  A few years ago I shot their wedding in Leavenworth and it was been great to capture their lives recently with baby Lilia.  She is an absolute doll but I must say that it was rather difficult to keep her attention when we were surrounded by ducks.  These pictures just made me think of Christmas and as we celebrate today, I hope that Lilia brought a smile to your face.  This season is filled with shopping, holiday parties, family gatherings, travel and the like, but to truly take a few moments and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas is a joy for me.  I am blessed beyond measure and do not take each day I am given for granted.  I have lived an amazing life so far and know that the year 2010 will be full of monumental moments, memories I cannot wait to create and love I look forward to sharing.  Be thankful for those around you, knowing that each breath you are given is a precious gift.

While in Vancouver, I also had the opportunity to get some great images of Christine and her boyfriend Chris.  We had such a great time catching up, exploring the city as well as spending a little time relaxing.  They are such a fun couple and it was a joy to be able to do this session for them.  When you spend a day or two with a couple, the pictures can be random and natural.  I am one of those people who can be walking down the street and all of the sudden, there is one building or a sign or an angle that strikes me and I have to capture it.  This is exactly what we did during our time together.  If you are interested in exploring a city together, while having your own photographer capture the highlights of your day... let me know and we can definitely set it up.
